HOW TO USE:
STEP 1:
For complete WINTeQ Window Installation instructions download the installation guide for New Construction and Replacement Windows.
STEP 2:
Use at temperatures above 5°C (40°F). For best performance apply at 21°C (70°F). Ensure surfaces to be sealed are clean, free of standing water and structurally sound.
STEP 3:
Cut off tip of cartridge above screw threads. Screw on nozzle, remove the cap and cut the tip off the cartridge nozzle just above the threads to desired bead size (3/8" recommended).
STEP 4:
The joint width must be designed to suit the movement capability of the sealant. In general, the joint width must be > 10 mm (0.39") and < 35 mm (1.37"). A joint width to depth ratio of approximately 1:05 must be maintained.
STEP 5:
Using a caulking gun, extrude sealant forcing into joint. To ensure proper adhesion, immediately tool the sealant. Wipe nozzle tip and recap cartridge immediately after use.
